Terms of Service

SkilledReady provides temporary staffing, contract staffing, and temp-to-perm placement services to businesses operating in Ontario, Canada. Our services include sourcing, screening, and placing workers in the following categories:

• Industrial and manufacturing labour
• Warehouse and logistics workers
• Construction and site labour
• Office and administrative professionals
• Service technicians and licensed tradespeople
• General labour and event staff

The specific terms of each staffing engagement are outlined in a separate client service agreement, purchase order, or written confirmation. These Terms apply in addition to and not in place of any such engagement-specific agreement.

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:

• Reproduce, copy, or redistribute content from this site without written permission
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from this website
• Submit false or misleading information through any form on this site
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its systems
• Use the site in any way that could damage or impair its operation

We reserve the right to terminate access to this website at our sole discretion for any violation of these Terms.

Information submitted through contact, request-staff, job-application, and talent-pool forms must be accurate and must not infringe another person's rights. Our handling of submitted personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Current public job listings and applications are coordinated through OnboardReady. An application, optional resume upload, or talent-pool submission is a request for consideration only. It does not create an employment relationship and does not guarantee contact, an interview, an assignment, or placement. Job availability, requirements, and timing may change or be withdrawn.

The website also relies on independent services for email delivery, analytics, advertising measurement, abuse prevention, and infrastructure. Availability of a third-party service is not guaranteed. SkilledReady's Meta/Facebook integration is limited to publishing and reconciling content on SkilledReady's own Facebook Page; it does not create a Facebook account relationship with website visitors.

For all temporary and contract placements, SkilledReady acts as the employer of record for placed workers. This means SkilledReady is responsible for:

• Payroll processing and timely payment of wages
• CPP contributions, EI premiums, and vacation pay as required by Ontario law
• WSIB coverage under our account number
• Year-end T4 preparation and issuance
• Compliance with the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA) for placed workers

The Client is not the employer of record and assumes no payroll or tax remittance obligations for workers placed through SkilledReady, unless a direct-hire or temp-to-perm conversion has been formally completed.

By engaging SkilledReady's staffing services, the Client agrees to:

• Provide a safe working environment in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) of Ontario
• Provide site-specific safety orientation to all placed workers before work begins, as required under OHSA
• Accurately report hours worked by placed workers to SkilledReady in a timely manner
• Notify SkilledReady promptly of any workplace incident, injury, or unsafe condition involving a placed worker
• Pay all invoices from SkilledReady within the payment terms specified in your client agreement (typically net 15 days)
• Not directly hire or solicit for employment any worker placed by SkilledReady without first notifying SkilledReady and paying any applicable conversion fee as outlined in your service agreement

If a Client wishes to hire a SkilledReady-placed worker on a permanent basis, a conversion fee may apply depending on the terms of the active service agreement and the length of the temporary placement. Clients must not attempt to circumvent this by terminating the temporary assignment and re-engaging the same worker directly within 12 months of the placement end date.

SkilledReady will issue invoices based on hours worked by placed workers. Invoices are typically issued weekly or bi-weekly, per your service agreement. Payment terms are net 15 days unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Overdue invoices may be subject to late payment interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (18% per annum). SkilledReady reserves the right to suspend staffing services for accounts with overdue balances.

SkilledReady makes reasonable efforts to screen candidates and verify qualifications before placement. However, we do not guarantee the performance, conduct, or fitness of any placed worker.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkilledReady's total liability to any Client for any claim arising from a staffing engagement is limited to the fees paid for the specific placement giving rise to the claim in the 30 days preceding the claim.

SkilledReady is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services or website, including but not limited to lost profits, production losses, or business interruption.

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and page layouts — is the property of SkilledReady Staffing Inc. and protected by Canadian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this site without prior written permission.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of this website or our services following any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
