1. Information We Collect
Job applications and talent-pool submissions
When you apply for a listed role or join the talent pool, the current form may collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, city, work categories, years of experience, driver's-licence and transportation responses, additional comments, the job identifier, and an optional resume in PDF format.
Current job listings and applications are coordinated through OnboardReady. SkilledReady's website sends the application fields and optional resume to that service for recruitment and staffing administration. Submission does not guarantee an interview, assignment, or employment.
Employer and contact forms
Contact forms may collect name, email, phone number, subject, message, and the page used to contact us. Request-staff forms may collect a contact's first name, company name, email, phone number, company size when provided, worker type and details, number of workers, date needed, and source page.
Technical, attribution, and anti-spam information
For website inquiries and staffing requests, we may record IP address, browser user-agent, referring URL, first landing-page URL for the browser session, advertising click identifiers and UTM campaign fields, reCAPTCHA score, honeypot status, and derived risk flags. We also receive ordinary server and service logs needed to operate and protect the website.
The current public website forms do not request a Social Insurance Number, banking information, or a background-check result. If such information is needed later in an employment or onboarding process, it should be requested through the applicable secure process with an explanation at that time, not through these public forms.
2. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to:
- receive, assess, and coordinate job applications and talent-pool submissions;
- match candidates with potential staffing opportunities and communicate about recruitment;
- respond to inquiries and evaluate employer staffing requests;
- send form confirmations and internal notifications;
- protect forms from spam, abuse, duplicate submissions, and security threats;
- measure website use and advertising results and improve our services; and
- meet applicable legal, regulatory, employment, and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information. The website contains no automated SMS-sending functionality. If you contact us by phone or separately agree to text communications, those communications are outside the automated website flow.
3. Service Providers and Disclosure
Information may be handled by or disclosed to:
- OnboardReady — to provide job listings and receive current job applications, talent-pool submissions, and optional PDF resumes;
- Resend — to deliver the internal notifications and submitter confirmations currently sent by the website's contact and request-staff forms;
- Google — for analytics, advertising measurement, and reCAPTCHA, as described below;
- Website infrastructure providers — the application uses Replit hosting, PostgreSQL-backed submission records, and Supabase for certain website content or application state; and
- client employers, professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other parties when needed for a requested staffing service or required or permitted by law.
A separate optional card-deposit function exists in the software but is not currently connected as a service used by all website visitors. If SkilledReady activates that function for a specific transaction, Stripe will process the card details under Stripe's terms; SkilledReady's systems are designed to receive transaction references rather than the full card number.
4. SkilledReady's Facebook Page Integration
SkilledReady uses the Meta/Facebook Graph API for a narrow business purpose: to publish SkilledReady job postings or content to SkilledReady's own Facebook Page and to read that Page's own posts and related Page-level publishing information so the website can reconcile publishing status.
This integration is used for Page publishing, not to build profiles of Facebook users or collect their private messages or friends lists. The website does not offer Facebook Login. Facebook users interact with Meta's platform under Meta's own policies. Requests about data held independently by Meta must be made through Meta's privacy and account tools.
5. Email and Communications
When you submit a contact inquiry or staffing request, SkilledReady uses Resend to deliver related internal notifications and email confirmations. Job applications are processed through OnboardReady, and recruitment communications may be sent in connection with an application. SkilledReady may also reply directly about an inquiry or requested staffing service. We do not use website form information for unrelated electronic marketing without the consent or other legal basis required by applicable law.
6. Consent and Choices
By choosing to submit information, you authorize its handling for the purposes explained at the form and in this Policy. You may withdraw consent where the law allows, subject to legal, contractual, and record-keeping restrictions. Withdrawal may prevent us from continuing an application, inquiry, or staffing service.
7. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage the relevant relationship, protect the website, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. Retention therefore depends on the type of record, the service involved, and applicable requirements.
OnboardReady and other independent providers may keep records under their applicable instructions, agreements, and legal obligations. A deletion request is assessed against the systems and obligations that apply at the time.
8. Safeguards
SkilledReady uses administrative, technical, and physical measures considered appropriate to the nature of the information and the website's operation. Access is intended to be limited to people and service providers who need it for the stated purposes. No internet transmission, storage system, or service provider can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and reCAPTCHA
The website loads Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags to measure visits, interactions, and advertising performance. When those services are configured and available, successful lead forms can send a generate_lead event and SHA-256-hashed, normalized email address and phone number as enhanced-conversion signals. When configured, a lead later marked qualified may also be reported to Google Ads using its click identifier or hashed contact signals. Hashing reduces direct exposure but is still a form of processing.
If a URL contains a Google click identifier or UTM campaign parameters, the site stores the most recent set in a first-party cookie and browser storage and uses it for a 90-day attribution period. The first landing URL is kept for the browser session. Browser settings can clear or block these technologies, although doing so may affect measurement or some functionality.
Forms may use Google reCAPTCHA to assess abuse. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
10. Access, Correction, and Deletion
You may ask to access or correct personal information under our control, or request deletion where applicable. We may need reasonable information to locate records and verify that the requester is the person concerned or is authorized to act for them. We respond within the periods required by applicable law. Access requests governed by PIPEDA are generally answered within 30 days, subject to any extension or exception permitted by law. Legal exceptions may apply to access or deletion.

11. Third-Party Services and Links
The website may link to job boards, Meta/Facebook, Google, government resources, or other independent services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Where SkilledReady asks a service provider to process information for this website, the provider may still have independent legal duties and technical processes.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the website, connected services, or legal requirements change. We will revise the "Last updated" date and encourage visitors to review the current version. A material change will not retroactively create consent where applicable law requires a different step.
